Alex’s experience:

Alex glamping near Margaret River

I was fortunate enough to win a wonderful prize from Uproute to go Soul Camping in Margaret River.

The experience was spectacular and I highly recommend Soul Camping to anyone. Before we arrived we decided to visit a gem of a restaurant called Little Fish. This is located near Yallingup and was a nice little break from the drive. We sat outside on the deck looking out over the beautiful Lake. The food was amazing and the portions very generous. Needless to say we will be returning!

After lunch we carried onto our accommodation. The staff at Prevelly Caravan Park are very friendly. We checked in and got directed to our camp site. Soul Camping had set everything up for us and what a set up it was. A huge tent, a big blow-up mattress, fairy lights, an outdoor setting and chairs. We were very impressed.

The stay was very comfortable and luxurious. Something very different for us as we are ones to usually sleep in a swag so it was such a treat.

Some things I recommend to do in Margaret River include:

Margies Big Day Out Wine Tour - a wine tour aimed at younger crowds and a whole heap of fun where you visit wineries, breweries and of course the cheese and chocolate factories.

Settlers Tavern - great food drinks and entertainment. There is always something happening here.

Watershed Winery - amazing wines and a beautiful restaurant with another spectacular view. This was our favourite place to dine all weekend.

Prevelly Caravan Park shop - here they let you try some of their locally produced wines and they are very good. We left with a box after some very generous tastings.
