Best Bits
Palm Cove relaxing stay. The cable car ride to the waterfalls in Cairns and the road tripping e.g. Stop at Mission Beach.
Worst Bits
Missed the Daintree Rainforest as we ran out of time!

Perth - Cairns (fly) Cairns - Palm Cove (drive) Palm Cove - Townsville (drive) Townsville - Airlie Beach (drive)
General Route
Picked up car from Cairns airport and drove straight to Palm Cove. 4 nights there, drive 3.5 hours to Townsville. 1 night there, 4 hours to Airlie Beach. Then ferry to Whitsundays. See other trip posted: uproute.co/trips/caris-whitsundays.
