The crowds and the haggling in the markets.

Trip Dates and Comments on Timing

Arrival Logistics

Arriving for the first time in India can be chaotic. Fortunately my company provided a car and driver pick-up and I was taken directly to my hotel.

General Overview of Itinerary

Mostly business with a side trip to see the sights!

Main Activities

Business, Culture, Historical visits, Road trip, Shopping

Food and Drink Highlights

Any great looking local food place. Mostly medium to higher end to avoid any stomach issues. The food everywhere was spectacular. I am a big fan of spice and I didn’t have a bad meal.

Essential Packing for this Trip

Tshirts and shorts for the hot days. Nights in Delhi can cool down so a jacket or jumper is important.

Jack’s experience:

I went to New Delhi for a business trip and had a weekend to explore the city’s sights and travel to Agra. In New Delhi I explored the markets and the Red Fort. Agra was mainly for the Taj Mahal. Since I was there already…why not?!
