The people in Nepal are one of the best.
The [traffic] jams can get pretty bad, but a lot of the museums, shopping, hotels and UNESCO sites are walking distance to each other.
June — Go ASAP!
Landed at the airport, make sure to ask the accomodation to book a car for you. Drove into the city, about 20min ride.
Free and easy. Explore! Nepal is one of the oldest cities in the world.
Bar hopping, hiking, kayaking, food, culture, historical visits, live music, shopping
Eat the street food, you will not regret it. Amazing flavors that taste like a blend of Chinese and Indian.
Bring mosquito repellant for the nighttime.
Partied with the locals at a bar called Base Camp, run by the coolest Nepalese I’ve met. His name’s Paresh. He will hook you up with anything and anybody.
Hiked up in Nagarkot for amazing sights and fantastic fresh air.
Went for a kayaking hiking tour by a local adventure company. Great rapids.
Participated in a Nepalese wedding. Nepalese people are insanely friendly and they know how to have a ton of FUN!
Ate a lot of momos. If you don’t know what momos are, think Chinese “xiao long baos” dipped in Indian curry. Amazing.
